What Will We Do?

Dance Your Yoga is a family-friendly experience for students of all ages and levels.

We will begin by bringing awareness to our bodies with gentle, subtle movement incorporating slow, focused breathwork, followed by a more rhythmic flow to awaken and move dormant stagnant energies.

We will create a safe circle of healing through dance, fluid yoga poses, positive affirmations, and live drumming. We will conclude with a restorative savasana and Reiki-infused sound healing.

Releasing what no longer serves us, claiming the ingredients that nourish our joy and inner balance, we will discover what it means to make yoga our own.

What to Bring

Wear comfy clothes for movement and deep relaxation.

Bring a blanket & water bottle.

Bring your mat or borrow one.

Hilda's yoga practice began in 2004, after sustaining multiple back injuries resulting from a car accident. Her yoga practice not only healed her body but also created a life-long mind-body-spirit relationship that fosters sustainable wellness practices and promotes mindful movement, resulting in a rich yet gentle life without chronic pain. Hilda's offerings include Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga styles for all populations, including Prenatal, Postnatal, and those
suffering from chronic pain and limited range of motion. As a registered nurse, she has offered yoga and Reiki to pediatric non-verbal patients as well as birthing mothers with wonderful results.

Hilda incorporates sound healing, Reiki, meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, and Ayurvedic teachings in her yoga sessions to promote self-awareness, self-acceptance, creativity, and ownership of one's ever-evolving healing practice.
